As a small arts non-profit, Pilchuck employs around fifteen year-round staff, but it takes many more dedicated and passionate people to make Pilchuck possible. There are a wide range of opportunities for you to be a part of our community and help contribute to the School’s mission.
In the spring, an international group of artists known as Poleturners come together to take on the ambitious project of creating more than one hundred table centerpieces for our Annual Auction. Generously donating their time, this enthusiastic group helps to kick-off our summer program.
In the summer, when classes are in session, we’ve got a variety of seasonal opportunities on campus. The summer staff is a vibrant group of individuals who are all committed to working hard and responsibly in a dynamic, creative environment. Other seasonal opportunities include participating as a Teaching or Artist Assistant (TA/AA).
Throughout the year there are also volunteer opportunities to help with special fundraising events, to act as docents for campus tours, or to provide assistance with special projects.
On a select basis, Pilchuck will supervise interns in various aspects of arts nonprofit administration as part of degree requirements.
