It is with deep sadness that we share the news of Patricia Watson’s passing. She died in her sleep on November 20. Since 2004, she had been the school’s beloved friend and registrar. The exact cause of death is still unknown.
Our thoughts remain with her family and with those whose lives she so wonderfully affected. A memorial service for family and friends will be held on December 5th a the Damascus Road Church in Marysville, WA.
Patricia was a vital member of our Pilchuck family. Her dedication to our organization is irreplaceable and the great legacy of her warmth and kindness will surely live on. To honor Patricia’s memory, Pilchuck is establishing a scholarship in her name. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be sent to Pilchuck for this scholarship. Cards may be sent to the family (Lash Watson, Rebecca Fills, Jake Shannon, and Ruth Shannon) care of Pilchuck Glass School. We will forward to the family.
Many of you have taken the time to communicate your condolences and we included a few below. We thank you for your well wishes.
