We encourage you to apply!
Artistic merit is the primary criterion for scholarship awards. Scholarships take
the form of a partial or full reduction in fees. Scholarship applicants will be
considered for all General and applicable Special Scholarships. Applicants are scored
and ranked based on artistic merit by a jury of artists and arts professionals (does
not apply to Partner Scholarships). Need may become a factor in awarding scholarships.

|
Artistic Merit Criteria
|
The scholarship jury will consider the following characteristics when reviewing
your work:
- Originality and inventiveness
- Evidence of aesthetic focus
- High level of craft with glass or other media
- Visual clarity

Financial Need
|
Pilchuck encourages diversity by providing talented artists the opportunity to attend
the school regardless of their ability to pay. A brief statement from each scholarship
applicant is used to determine financial need.
